Wallpaper strips: a versatile decorating solution

Decorating furniture

Freshen up a storage cabinet and transform it in no time by covering the front with wallpaper. For a more unique touch, go for trompe l'oeil panelling. You can also draw attention to your furniture item by applying a one or several strips behind it.

Covering up a door

To make sure your door fits perfectly with the rest of the decor, you can cover it with strips of wallpaper. It's up to you to choose whether you want a similar pattern to the wall or something different.

Creating a headboard

Create a unique headboard by applying wallpaper strips all the way up to the ceiling. Choose between a pattern and a block colour, according to your tastes.

Setting apart a space

Wallpaper strips can also be used to separate a room into two distinct spaces – such as a sleeping area and a play area. This little trick will allow you to enjoy each area separately without losing any space.

Sprucing up your decor

If you want to freshen up the decor in rooms decorated in neutral colours, you can apply one or several strips wallpaper with coloured stripes, graphics or floral patterns. You might even want to consider a picture strip featuring cartoon characters! Wallpaper can also be used to to emphasise a nook in the room. If you're simply looking to add a bit of style to a room, say farewell to conventional paintings and start using wallpaper to create works of art!
